As September 2025 unfolds, here at Enbecom, we continue our unwavering commitment to supporting environmental projects worldwide. Partnering with Ecologi, we’ve made significant strides in eco-conservation, with two projects taking centre stage this month: The Tambopata-Bahuaja Biodiversity Reserve in Peru and the Matav\u00e9n forest in eastern Colombia.<\/p>\n

Protecting the Tambopata-Bahuaja Biodiversity Reserve in Peru<\/b><\/p>\n

The Tambopata-Bahuaja Biodiversity Reserve, nestled in the heart of Peru, is a sprawling expanse of 591,119 hectares of rainforest. This project is instrumental in averting nearly 460,000 tCO\u2082e emissions annually. It’s a significant step towards curtailing the global carbon footprint and mitigating climate change implications.<\/p>\n

However, we’re not just focused on carbon emissions. The project also champions biodiversity and fosters local communities. By protecting the diverse ecosystem, we’re ensuring the survival of numerous species, many of which are endangered. Simultaneously, we’re supporting local communities, fostering their economic growth and sustainability through eco-tourism and other green initiatives.<\/p>\n

Protection of the Matav\u00e9n Forest in Eastern Colombia<\/b><\/p>\n

The Matav\u00e9n REDD+ project in eastern Colombia is another remarkable initiative we’re proud to support. The project is geared towards safeguarding 1.15 million hectares of the tropical forest nestled within Colombia\u2019s Indigenous Reservation. It’s a much-needed step to combat rampant deforestation and biodiversity loss.<\/p>\n

Through this project, we’re not only preserving the lush canopy and diverse species but also respecting and protecting the rights of the indigenous communities. The forest is not just a biodiversity hotspot but a home for these communities, and it’s crucial to ensure their way of life remains undisturbed.<\/p>\n

We’re incredibly proud to announce that, since the beginning of our partnership with Ecologi over 4 years ago, we’ve funded the planting of 4628 trees. This achievement is a testament to our commitment to creating a healthier planet.<\/p>\n
