Consumer Information
The information below applies to non-business customers (i.e. consumers) only.
Enbecom Ltd provides certain products/services to non-business customers. At the time of writing, these are:
- Domain Names
- Web Hosting and associated technical services.
We do not supply non-business customers with any sort of website design/maintenance services.
There are various laws and regulations which apply to protect consumers and businesses. We would like to address some of the points relating to these laws and regulations here:
Contracts and Agreements
You must read, understand and agree to all of our Terms and Conditions before placing any order from Enbecom Ltd. To see the Terms and Conditions, visit the Terms and Conditions Introduction/Index page of the Enbecom Ltd Website.
A key point to note is that:
An order placed with Enbecom Ltd is invalid, and no contract is made, until the order is explicitly confirmed by us in writing (usually by electronic mail). We reserve the right to wholly or partially refuse any order.
Thank you.
Distance Selling Regulations
For consumer purchases, your supplier's name is Enbecom Ltd (referred to elsewhere in this text as "Enbecom Ltd", "Enbecom", "we", "us"), whose address is 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. This is a company registered in England and Wales with number 11749458.
A description of goods or services will be provided to you before you place your order. Usually this will be through our website, so our 'shopping basket' technology will provide you with this information before you place your order.
VAT is chargeable on all relevant services at the appropriate rate.
As most services are provided 'on-line', there are no delivery charges to be paid for by consumers.
Payments are usually made in advance through on-line payment processing facilities. This payment processing is carried out by a third party, so receipt of funds (and the timing of receipt) by us is in the hands of this third party. Your order will usually be processed when payment is fully received by us.
Under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, we supply personalised service items which are provided to you from the instant they are set up, so in most cases there is no right to cancel your agreement with us under these Regulations.
Prices for these products/services may vary in future, so, if you decide to renew your products/services through us in the future, you may have to pay more or less for the products/services than you did initially. However, you are usually under no obligation to renew any products/services through us, except within a minimum term and any notice period.
Nothing in this text affects your statutory rights.
The Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002
These Regulations apply to sales to consumers and businesses. We understand our obligations under these Regulations.
